Chloe Moodtheme  
New Moodtheme! A Chloe one! And I had promised myself, as soon as I finished my first one, that I'd NEVER make another moodtheme but I was bored and thought: Oh what the hell right? Now I remember why I had made that promise... the moods are never ending! Heh.. But I'm happy with the results so here is it!

Most caps are from seasons 4 and 5 (because I preffer her hair on those) but I guess there are images from all seasons. Image credit goes to [info]oxoniensis and AMO.



The zip file is here. Right click, 'save as'.



So here is what you have to do to install the moodtheme.

1) Upload all the moodtheme images to a photobucket or any server account. Keep the mood names to make things easier.

2) Go to http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console/
On the box on that page, type: moodtheme_create "Chloe" "Chloe" then click on 'Execute'.
That action should give you a number like 1234, save that number and don't close that window.

3) Open the file 'moodtheme' and replace (Ctrl+H) 1234 with the number you were given on step 2.
Replace http://Your_Site/ with the actual link, for example http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/val17/moodtheme/ make sure you include the last / or it won't work.

4) Select all (Ctrl+A) and Copy (Ctrl+C) the entire Moodtheme file. Paste (Ctrl+V) onto the Admin Console window and click Execute again.

5) Go to http://www.livejournal.com/modify.bml Under 'Mood Icons', the drop down menu, the last option should be 'Chloe'. Select it and click on Save Changes.

You're done!

LOL thanks! I wasnt exactly sure on high because technically it doeswnt have chloe but it's the Planet and the "up, up and away" line and at least when I see the Planet I think "Chloe" so... Glad it worked!

Yeah, and LJ's other way of adding a mood theme is a pain in the ass. The one where you take your mood links and add them next to each mood. But the page is so damn glitchy and won't work if the link is too long and you have to click on the page and hope that each pic will show up in between each mood. Sigh, yeah. Complicated and exasperating.

OMG I knowww! That way is HELL! I did my first moodtheme there because I didn't know all the moods and all and figured it'd be easier if I just made them and added them one by one and YEAH RIGHT! This way is definitely the way to go, now if only photobucket would allow us to upload by FTP rather than one by one, things would be extremely easier!

Beautiful! The colors are just stunning. Unforunately, paid account just expired and I haven't been active enough lately to warrant renewing so I'll have to just admire your beautiful moodtheme from afar. :) Lovely job!

Aww that sucks about your paid account... I totally understand about not renewing because I didn't renew mine either and wouldn't have it if it wasn't for people's wonderful generosity on xmas hehehe!

Moodtheme question...
Wow, this has got to be one of the nicest mood themes I've seen on LJ. I've been searching for a mood theme for my own LJ and its been a bit mad! ;)

You used lovely pics and I really LOVE the fact that they are so clear. :) Most moodthemes made from screen caps are rather dark and blurry and expressions cannot be seen. Lovely job! :D

Can this theme be used with a sponsored+ account?

Oh, and how can I find a link to other moodthemes made by you?

Aww thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked it!

Heh yeah I know what you mean, many caps come too dark, you need to mexx with the contrast and the sharpness otherwise the actual moods aren't visible enough! That's why making moodthemes is such a pain... Hehehe

Yep, it works on a sponsered account, and a little secret, if you get the sponsered account, install it and then switch back to free, the moodtheme will stay there and you'll go back to ads free... ;)

Sounds like a lot of work. ;) I'm so not tech savvy so I'm more than happy that folks make mood themes here, LOL! Its so good that you edited (is that the word?) these pics so that they are so clear and pretty. :)

Oh yes, the sponsored a/c to free a/c switch. ;)Would you believe I am staying with Sponsored for the extra user pics? Haha. :D Gosh I'm such an icon nut. :P

I have been looking for a good, clear Clois mood theme and Lauren Graham mood theme but sadly everthing I've seen so far is very blurry...

I hate to trouble you but could you tell me where to find good quality screencaps?

Ok, I downloaded the Chloe mood theme so that I can either use it now in my FO journal or in my fan fic journal later.

I will definitely credit you for use whenever I choose to use this theme. :D
